CCTV Remote Viewing

A provider of leisure/recreation facilities based on the east coast with various outlets throughout the east midlands, south and west coasts required to monitor staff efficiency, customer levels and the security of his product while not having to travel to these premises during its busiest periods.

A pc based hard disk recorder (hdr) cctv system was designed, utilizing BT broad band for efficiency and cost effectiveness to allow the customer access to a number of the remote sites at anytime to receive near live images and therefore self monitor site efficiency and security.

Alarmline security is at the forefront of these technical advancements and is now using its valuable experiences to design town centre schemes and security networks for commercial premises large or small.

The system paid for itself within two weeks of install when it caught two members of staff stealing from the company.

Case study for access.

A local government scheme in Lincoln redeveloped an ageing large commercial premises into business offices.

Alarmline security designed and installed a network door access system allowing the landlord full user rights to allow or deny access to any part of the building to any of its users at anytime, without compromise to the buildings other security measures or the tenants right of access.

Such access systems can be utilized for time and attendance, fire reports, school attendance and classroom security.

Integrated System

A blue chip company responsible for supplying hardware and training for this hardware to the government, required a secure compound with an integrated security system.

A remote signalled alarm system was installed with codes for up to 500 users, these user codes gave varying access levels depending on the individuals status, complimenting this was an access control system with the same degree of flexibility and real time reporting allowing a pc operator to determine instantly who was or was not on site (time and attendance).

Finally a CCTV system linked to both of the above and a zoned perimeter fence, when the fence was activated either one or two cameras zoomed into the area in question and at the same time transmitted live pictures of the incident to a remote location, verbal warnings were able to be given by a public address system from the remote operator.

The integrated system gave the client exactly what they wanted, and it was installed with slight variations on three more sites.

Chain of Supermarkets

A large east coast chain of supermarkets, employing their own security manager and staff, required a reliable and competitive intruder alarm system for their individual stores.

Using the latest technology including the ability to remotely visit each site to ensure that premises were opened and closed at the correct times of the day. This was achieved by the use of a Galaxy Gold, which enabled the security manager to check each system from his head office desk and add/delete users of the system without visiting site.
